Lamda lessons
LAMDA is a communication and performance syllabus from London Acacdemy of Music and Dramatic Art offering Speech and Drama lessons and yearly exams in:
- • Acting
- • Devised performance
- • Musical theatre
- • Speaking verse and prose
- • Mime
Confidence, imagination, projection, articulation, clarity, use of physicality, appreciation of literature, communication and public speaking are just some of the skills developed in a fun, creative environment. Examinations measure progress against internationally applied standards and make contact with expert assessors receiving record of personal achievement an building self esteem.
Lessons are available from Year 2 upwards and take place in small groups during school for pupils at Coworth Flexlands and after school or Saturdays for other pupils. All welcome!
